Tomorrow, Saturday, May 16 at 3 PM (Miami time) the Dra. Marisa Azaret presents a new edition of the Vive la Salud program: coronavirus pandemic, to talk to experts about covid-19 and everything that this serious condition implies.
In this new broadcast, Dr. Andrés Cotton, pediatrician and spokesperson for the American Association of Pediatrics, will talk about the care and precautions that children must take for back to school and will also analyze what are the special care of students who present some physical disability.
Dr. Azaret will speak with the epidemiologist Felipe Lobelo about the situation in some Latin American countries such as Mexico, Peru and Brazil, which are at the top of the list of the largest number of cases in the region and whose health systems are being compromised. In addition, it will give an overview of Kawasaki disease and the possible transmission of covid-19 by sexual transmission.
Similarly, Lola, from Sesame Street, will chat with the doctor about the activities that children can do in times of quarantine. He will also give advice on how to combat fear and anxiety in children and will talk about the new way to communicate with loved ones: video calls.
